The Master Algorithm

Connectionists are more interested in how the brain works in specific the connections between neurons in the brain.  They look to neuroscience and focus on backpropogation in their pursuit of the master algorithm.  By using neural networks to make a virtual brain they can they focus on how to weight the connections between neurons to recreate human level intelligence.  Geoff Hinton is one of the most well renowned computer scientist in the world and a leader int he tribe.  In this video he is interviewed by Andrew Ng who is also one of the greatest minds in the field.  I found that Geoff being interviewed by someone who is an expert in the field lead to a deep and meaningful conversation.
